Coming to Turku without visiting Finland and its neighbouring countries might feel like missing out, yet organising all those trips by yourself is costly in time, energy and money. ESN Uni Turku organises at least 5-10 trips and excursions each semester!
Most of the excursions are fully organised by ESN Uni Turku, yet the larger scale trips throughout the Nordics are made possible thanks to TimeTravels, a Finnish company based in Helsinki that supports ESN in the Nordics and without whom visiting the Nordics for erasmus students would not be possible for such affordable prices. Join us for a one-day adventure to Helsinki, Finland’s capital and a true hidden gem. We’ll kick off the day with a scenic ferry ride to Suomenlinna, a historic sea fortress full of photo spots and cultural sights. After some free time to explore, we’ll return to the city for a student-friendly lunch. In the afternoon, the local ESN section, ESN Uni Helsinki, will guide us through a fun checkpoint race around downtown Helsinki: a great way to discover the city and make new friends! In the evening, we’ll enjoy a relaxed social hangout before spending the night in a centrally located hotel.
