
What would be a nicer way to spend an autumn day than to join a trip to the most beautiful archipelago in the world? ESN Uni Turku has organized you a trip to Rosala and Hiittinen islands which are situated about 100 kilometres from Turku. Come with us to see the wonderful archipelago landscapes and learn more about the history of Finland!
At the isle of Rosala we are visiting the Viking centre Rosala http://www.rosala-viking-centre.com/ where you can learn more about the vikings and their way of life in Finland and visit the viking houses and ships. At the viking centre we'll also have a traditional archipelago lunch (fish soup with special archipelago bread) and coffee. After the Viking centre we'll also visit the local church at Hiittinen isle and spend some time enjoying the archipelago nature.
The trip takes place on Saturday 18.9. and costs only 25 euros with ESN card (30 euros without ESN card). The price includes bus transportation, ferry trip to the island, entrance fee, lunch and guided tour at the Rosala Viking centre. The trip has places for 48 persons, so be on time when we have ticket sale Friday 10.9. at Publicum lecture hall PUB 3 at 14.00-15.00. Please remember to take your ESN card and even sum of money with you. You can only pay in cash. Tickets will be sold on first come, first served basis.
