We'll be taking a ferry from Helsinki to St. Petersburg where we can enjoy city tours, the glorious Russian architecture and wild nightlife! At a competitive extra charge you can attend ballet, Russian lunch, excursions etc. Trip includes two nights on a ferry and two nights in a hotel in St. Petersburg.

We will take the night train from Helsinki straight to Moscow where we will have two days to explore the real soviet atmosphere. Wednesday evening we will take the night train back to St. Petersburg where we meet the rest of the group and spend the long weekend together. For this trip you need to get the visa!
Prices include back and forth trips from Turku to destinations, accommodation in a hotel with breakfasts and travel insurance. The travel agency will take care of arranging the visas and offer us a local guide. See the Bair Travels website for more detailed trip schedule.

TRAVEL MEETING
The representative of our tour operator Bair Travels will tell you more about the trip (program etc) and you will have time to ask questions. You will get a lot more information about the trip, extra activities, visa etc. Also you can meet up with other people who are joining this trip. :) Attendance is recommended to all the people who are going but also to those who are still thinking about going to Russia.

VISA
For St. Petersburg you don't need a visa but for Moscow it's still essential. To get more information about it (price etc.), go to http://bair-travels.com/index.php?div=607
A link to print the visa application: http://www.rusembassy.fi/visas_information.htm. The passports of those going to Moscow will be collected on THURSDAY 8.4. AT 6 P.M. IN PUB3 (PUBLICUM). You can fill the application (with a blue or black ballpoint pen) in advance and remember to bring a photo!
