Ho ho ho,
It's Christmas time and that means it's time to start singing Christmas songs! :) ESN is going Christmas caroling to the Kerttuli elementary school and Kerttuli retirement home on Monday 12th of December at 9 - 12 am and you are welcome to join us!
The idea is to form small groups from different countries and perform Christmas songs in different languages to Finnish children and senior citizens. Each group will prepare at least one song and we'll also sing something familiar in English together with our audience. Be creative: make choreographies, wear costumes and play musical instruments! Great musical talent isn't the issue here; the important thing is to spread our international ESN Christmas spirit! After the performance we are welcome to stay for coffee and snacks.
We will have two rehearsals together before the "concert", on the 8th and the 11th of December in the Turku main library music room 5 – 6 pm. We meet outside the library, next to the lion fountain at 16:45 http://g.co/maps/z8fwy Come alone or with your friends, we will form the groups together.
This is a great opportunity for you to get integrated in the real Finnish society, promote your own culture and traditions and make others feel happy! This event is part of the international ESN project called Social Erasmus http://socialerasmus.esn.org/ Despite it's name, the project is open for all international students and not only for Erasmus students.
