ESN Uni Turku is organizing in co-operation with Anglica (student organisation of English students) the Carneval Sitz Party to celebrate Mardi Gras on Thursday 3rd of March at Tivoli (Uudenmaankatu 16, http://tinyurl.com/uudenmaankatu16). If you have troubles to find the place, we'll be picking up people from the Cathedral at 18.45 sharp!

Use your imagination and dress up according to the theme. Ticket price is 13 euros and it includes a three course meal, 2 beers (or ciders), two vodka shots, punch, after party and lots of fun! We'll also sell drinking tickets at our ticket sale so buy some in case you'll get thirsty ;)

Sitz parties are something really typical and unique to Finnish student life so you don’t want to miss this party! During the sitz party we’ll be singing traditional drinking songs but we also have special Toast masters who make the whole party even more entertaining. We'll be singing mostly in English! The party starts at 19.00 (be on time if you don’t want to get a punishment) and afterwards we'll be heading to Turku's night. The official after party will be in nightclub Vegas (next to Marilyn) where we'll be heading after 10 p.m. Afterparty is included in the price of the Sitz ticket. (otherwise it's 2 euros). Remember to dress up because the best costume will be awarded!

Sign-up and ticket sales:

The online sign-up will open this Sunday at 18.00 and it closes when the event is full. Be quick as we have only limited amount of places! Participants will receive a confirmation e-mail and the instructions how and where to pay and buy extra drinking tickets via e-mail. Make sure that you fill in your e-mail address correctly!

Finns are also warmly welcomed to the party, same rules and ticket sales apply.

Please bring the exact money and decide beforehand which extra drinks you want to have. Note that you're not allowed to bring your own drinks to Tivoli. Two beers (or ciders) and three shots are included in the Sitz ticket price as well as the 3-course-meal. Thank you! :)
